What We Do

G.S.S.S Charitable Foundation (Regd) was formed by the Gowda Saraswath Sevak Samaj, Malleswaram as an idependent Unit and registered on the 13th February, 2008, dedicated to the service of the economically backward families in the society. It has completed a decade of dedicated service. Over the period, it has not only laid a firm foundation in the society in the areas of education, job Oriented training, Social Services and premier Medical Care at affordable rates, but also established credibility amongst the esteemed Donors and the general public.

Gowda Saraswath Sevak Samaj was registered under the Karnataka Society´s Registration Act 1960 on 21-10-1978 at Bangalore with a membership of 69 including 7 life members.

Activities

Normal Activities

Every year, The Sathyanaraya Pooja held on last Sunday of December at the Bangalore Sri Kashi Math is undertaken by the Samaj on a grand scale with the total involvement of the members of the Samaj through offering of sevas and voluntary services. Nearly 2000 members participate in this function.
Programmes of Music, Bhajan and Dramas by artists of our own community or other outstanding artists.

Honouring Meritorious Students

GSSS Charitable Foundation has been Honouring the Meritorious Students every year for more than a decade now. We are very proud to say that our children have been performing exceedingly well in their academics.
The class 10 and class 12 exams are foundation stones for all students. Hence, we decided a decade ago to honour and recognise our young students in a befitting manner.
The guidelines for honouring.
  • 90% And above in 10th and 12th (PUC).
  • 75% And above in Degree, B E (and equivalents) and MBBS.
  • C A completion
Applications to be collected at G.S.S.Samaj office along with the following details:
  1. Mobile no. of the applicant
  2. Name n address of the parent
  3. Xerox copy of mark list duly attested by the student.
  4. Pass port size photo of the student
